Excerpts

The Greater Good Courtship

As Stacey picked Tom up from the airport and took him to visit her modest office, Tom was articulate and did not appear to be suffering from jet lag after his long trip from (?) Asia.   As she showed him around while explaining her business, Tom expressed eagerness to move quickly with the merger.  He was going to arrange for her to fly down to Seattle so she could visit the Greater Good facilities and meet key people running its operations.  He also wanted her to come to Los Angeles during the International Fair Trade week.   After Tom’s departure for Seattle, Stacey felt positive about Tom’s visit even though she had not yet recovered from the initial shock.
